The Bichon Frise is a small dog usually weighing between 7 and 12 pounds. Although a white coat is most popular, the Bichon can also be cream, grey or apricot. The Bichon Frise is a descendant of the Water Spaniel. It is also commonly believed that the Bichon has some Poodle mixed in as well. This dog can do well without a yard, as it tends to stay active even indoors.
